Pelplin

Before it had a sponsor's name, the team was a school project. Parents, students and local people in Pelplin set up the Student Sports Club "Jedynka" in 2008, attached to Zespół Kształcenia i Wychowania nr 1, and the school hall on ul. Sambora became its home. The name Decka came later, from the local construction and real estate firm that backed the club. The blue and white colours and the 500-seat hall stayed, and the hall was reopened in April 2018 after a major renovation.

The senior side entered the 3. Liga, the third tier, in 2014/2015 and won it in its first season. Promotion to the 2. Liga followed. Five years on, the 2019/2020 season ended early because of the pandemic with Decka second in its group. The club went up to the 1. Liga on a "wild card" (dzika karta), without playing the season out.

In the second tier Decka reached the play-offs for the first time in 2022/2023, finishing 7th in the regular season with 19 wins and 18 losses. Dziki Warszawa knocked them out. They finished 7th again in 2024/2025 and lost the quarter-final to Astoria Bydgoszcz. In 2026 the result was the same: 7th place, then a quarter-final defeat to PGE Spójnia Stargard.

Rivalry has a regional basis. SKS Starogard Gdański, also from the Kociewie region, is the opponent in the "Derby Kociewia", which has been played since September 2021. Rafał Knap, with Sławomir Sikora as his assistant, leads the team this season. Mariusz Konopatzki, who recorded a quadruple-double in 2017 and had played in the top flight for Asseco Gdynia and Legia Warszawa, is among the players linked with the club. Decka also runs a youth programme, Basket Kids.

The club has yet to win a round in the play-offs.
