RB do Norte

The Boto da Amazônia spent the 2026 season chasing promotion in the Campeonato Amazonense Série B, and got there: a penalty shootout win over CDC Manicoré sent RB do Norte through to the final against Fast Clube. The club draws its playing strength and its identity from Novo Airão, the river town some 115 kilometres from Manaus that gave the team its nickname, while the games themselves are staged at the Estádio Municipal Carlos Zamith in Manaus, a ground that holds 6,500.

Blue, yellow and black make up the kit, each colour standing for one of the rivers that shape the region — the Tapajós, the Amazon and the Negro. For 2026 the club went further and issued a shirt built around the Rio Negro alone, striped black and white in a nod to Rio Negro-AM, one of the sides RB do Norte measures itself against along with Fast Clube and Nacional. There is no old enemy waiting in Novo Airão itself: founded on 5 November 2021, RB do Norte has stood from the start as the town's only club of note, so its rivalries have had to be built outward, toward Manaus.

The club runs largely through its Instagram account, @rbdonorte, with no separate website to speak of — a small operation still writing its own history one Série B campaign at a time. Off the pitch, it is the badge itself that has drawn attention: the current crest, catalogued on Wikimedia Commons as RBdoNorte2025, carries the dolphin motif that gives the team its name into its most visible form.
