The Campeonato Amazonense Segunda Divisão is the second tier of professional football in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Organised by the Federação Amazonense de Futebol (FAF), it sits below the Campeonato Amazonense Série A in the state pyramid and serves as the feeder division for the state's top flight. The competition is not part of the national CBF pyramid structure, remaining strictly a state-level contest.
The tournament traces its origins to 1914, when it was founded by the Liga Amazonense de Foot Ball. After being held sporadically in the early decades, often won by reserve squads, it was revived in a modern professional format in 2007. The event has faced several interruptions, with no editions held in 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2020. In 2017, an "Extra" edition was held alongside the regular season.
The format typically involves teams divided into two groups. Clubs play a round-robin within their groups, followed by a knockout stage consisting of semifinals and a final. Matches in the knockout stage are often single-leg, with ties decided by penalty shootouts if necessary. Promotion is awarded to the champion, who earns a place in the Série A for the following season. In recent formats, promotion has been awarded solely to the champion, and there is no relegation from the bottom tier.
The most successful clubs in the history of the Segunda Divisão are Manáos Sporting Club and Rio Negro. Manáos Sporting won the first three editions. Rio Negro has won titles in the amateur era and the modern era. The current holder is Fast Clube, which won the title in 2026. The competition is distinct from the national Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, focusing on local clubs based in Manaus or surrounding municipalities.
