União TO U20

In 2024 that side won the Campeonato Tocantinense Sub-20, a result that opened the door to the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2025, where the group in Suzano paired them with Avaí, União Suzano and Red Bull Bragantino. They went out at the group stage.

União-TO took the first round against América-RN, coming from a rough start at home in Araguaína to win 4–2. The next round ended it: a 4–2 defeat away to Maringá FC. A CBF expansion had handed Tocantins the extra spot in the first place, after the reigning state champion turned it down.

The academy sits under a club run by Tiba, the former Corinthians and Red Bull Bragantino striker who won the Brasileirão in 1990 and now serves as president. His son, Davi Guedes, came up through Corinthians' own youth ranks rather than União-TO's, and captains the senior team as goalkeeper — a reminder that the pipeline between the under-20 side and the first team is not yet where the club's ambitions point.

Those ambitions carry forward: União-TO have already secured their place in the 2026 Copa do Brasil Sub-20, drawn against Liga de Miranda for September.
