Utah United Women spent their first season in existence winning the whole thing. Entering the USL W League as an expansion side in 2025, the club took the Mountain Division with a 9-1 record and then beat NC Courage U23 4-0 in the championship final at Brigham Young University's South Field in Provo.
The team grew out of Utah United's men's programme, which already competes in USL League Two, and shares its Orem base and its media presence through Salt City Soccer. Home games are played at UCCU Stadium, raised on the site of the old Clyde Field on the Utah Valley University campus, with room for 3,000 supporters.
None of that would have carried the club to a title without Seven Castain, who took the Golden Boot and the league's Player of the Year award in that debut season before Orlando Pride signed her. Ellie Walbruch settled the final as its MVP, and Ruby Hladek's form was enough to earn her a move to Seattle Reign FC — three departures in one off-season that say plainly how the rest of the league watched Orem that summer.
Behind the team, Mark Davis and Vess Pearson lead the ownership group, with Nuno Georgel working as sporting director. Castain remains the name supporters bring up first.
