Yeoju Sejong

Yeoju Sports Complex holds 21,600, though barely half the seats — 10,180 — are actual seating, the rest open terracing around the pitch. It has been Yeoju FC's home since the club took shape in Gyeonggi-do, and the arrangement suits a side that has spent its whole existence in the lower reaches of South Korean football rather than building toward a stadium it might one day outgrow.

The club was founded on 10 September 2017 as Yeoju Sejong FC, became Yeoju Citizen FC in 2019, and settled on its current name, Yeoju FC, in 2021 — three identities inside four years, though the address and the shirt never changed hands. It played the K3 League Basic in its first two seasons, dropped into the K4 League in 2020, and stayed there until 2023, when it won the division outright with 63 points from 20 wins, 3 draws and 7 losses. That title sent Yeoju up to the K3 League, where it competes now.

Shim Bong-seop has managed the club since 2020, which means the promotion belongs to him more than to any single season under him — three years of building toward the one that worked. The current kit is orange, adopted with promotion in 2023 after years in blue, and the supporters who follow it under that colour call themselves the Bulsajo, the Phoenix.

Their derby is with Yangpyeong FC, played out along the Namhan River that runs past both towns, and the fixture takes its name from it: the Namhan River Derby.
