LNK Industries, through its LNK Properties arm, opened the complex on the Daugava's left bank on 9 August 2022, in the Katlakalns district near the Dienvidu tilts, on the city's eastern edge close to Valdlauči.

What followed was less a single build than a sequence of them. In 2023 the club replaced the east side with a fixed stand and added four floodlight towers to bring the ground up to UEFA's requirements; a year later the west side went the same way, rebuilt with private boxes under a cantilever roof.

The complex runs to six pitches, not one. Field 2, where the first team plays its league and European fixtures, and the adjoining training pitch carry natural grass; the other four are artificial. That range of surfaces is why RFS Women, First League club Leevon PPK and Rīga Stradiņš University's FK RSU all use the site alongside the senior men's team, and why Latvia's women's national side has staged qualifiers there, among them a fixture against Azerbaijan in 2023.

Capacity on the main pitch runs to 1,700 across the Central and Riverside stands, and Virslīga fixtures in 2024 filled it outright. European nights have matched that ceiling: 1,678 for the visit of Bodø/Glimt in the Conference League, and a full 1,700 when Larne came for the Champions League qualifiers.
