Við Løkin

Runavík's home ground keeps a low profile by Faroese standards. Við Løkin, on Eysturoy, has stayed simply the ground where NSÍ Runavík play, without a claim on anything bigger.

The name has held since the ground opened in 1972, untouched by sponsors. There is no separate stadium website either — anyone after fixtures or news is sent to the club's own pages at nsi.fo, which says something about how closely the two are tied.

The pitch is artificial turf, and floodlights are in place, changes that point to some modernisation over the years even if no source puts a date or a cost on the work. Capacity is put at 1,500, sometimes quoted higher, which has always been enough.

No attendance record survives from the ground's history. Við Løkin has simply carried on as NSÍ Runavík's own address on Eysturoy.
