Alan Steve Minda García

Alan Minda came through Ecuadorian football by way of El Nacional's youth ranks before Independiente del Valle picked him up in 2016, keeping him in the academy for six years and giving him time in the reserve side, Independiente Juniors, before his first-team debut in 2021. Within his debut season he had already won the Ecuadorian Serie A title, adding the Copa Ecuador the following year.

Cercle Brugge paid roughly €2.0 million to bring him to the Belgian Pro League on a contract running to 2028. He stayed with the Belgian club until January 2026, when Atlético Mineiro paid €7 million for him, tying him down until the end of 2030.

At international level, Minda represented Ecuador at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup before graduating to the senior side, where he has scored against Jamaica in the Copa América 2024 group stage and against Bolivia in a World Cup 2026 qualifier that November. He was part of Ecuador's squad for that Copa América and, later, for the 2026 World Cup itself, starting in the opening match against Ivory Coast on 14 June 2026. By that point he had built up 21 caps and two goals for the national team.
