Benjamín Gazzolo

Benjamín Gazzolo came through the youth ranks at Unión San Felipe and made his first-team debut there in 2013. He stayed with the club until 2020, establishing himself as a regular starter during the 2019 Primera B campaign, Chile's second tier. That form led Huachipato to sign him ahead of the 2020 season, buying 35% of his sporting rights from Unión San Felipe.

Gazzolo became a fixture at Huachipato, and his time there produced the Chilean Primera División title in 2023 and the Copa Chile in 2025. He left the club when his contract expired and joined Coquimbo Unido on a free transfer in January 2026, signing through to the end of that year.

He has since made himself a regular starter for the club, and by mid-September 2026 he had started 20 league matches and played 1,690 minutes in the Primera División, with an average rating of 7.06. Among his stronger performances were matches against Club Atlético Platense in the Copa Libertadores, La Serena and Deportes Concepción.

At international level, Gazzolo has represented Chile at youth level, with call-ups to the under-20 squad in 2016 and the under-23 side for the 2020 Pre-Olympic Tournament.
