Romanian Cup Women 2025/26

The Romanian Women's Handball Cup stands as the premier knockout competition in Romanian women's handball. Organised by the Romanian Handball Federation (FRH), it serves as a secondary domestic trophy to the Liga Națională. The tournament began in the 1977–1978 season, marking the start of the modern era after no record exists of a women's cup in 1938.

Since 2007, the event has culminated in a "Final Four" tournament held in a single host city over a weekend. This structure features semi-finals and a match for third place. The number of participants varies annually; the 2025–2026 season started with 22 teams in the first round. These entrants typically include clubs from the Liga Națională, Divizia A, and County Champions. A key feature of the competition is its knockout nature, which allows lower-division teams to enter in the early rounds.

CSM București claims eight titles, including four consecutive victories from 2022 to 2025. In the 2025–2026 edition, CS Gloria Bistrița defeated SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea 31–21 in the Final Four held in Baia Mare to secure their first-ever Cup title. SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea holds the record with 13 titles. Other notable winners include CS Știința Bacău with five titles and HCM Baia Mare with three.

The competition is currently sponsored by Fan Courier, known officially as Cupa României Fan Courier. The winner qualifies for the EHF European Cup, formerly the EHF Challenge Cup. This path distinguishes the cup from the league, where spots in the EHF European League and EHF Champions League are primarily determined by standings. The tournament has faced interruptions in several seasons, including 1990–91 and 2004–05.
