That form persuaded Vélez to pay for the remaining share of his rights in January 2024, on a deal tying him to the club until December 2028: he became the undisputed starter and helped Vélez lift the Liga Profesional title that year, saving penalties in the Copa de la Liga semi-final against Argentinos Juniors along the way.

His path there was not a fast one. Marchiori began at Gimnasia y Esgrima in his native Mendoza, where he was part of the squad that won the Torneo Argentino B in the 2013–14 season and pushed the club up into the Primera B Nacional, though his own professional debut did not come until August 2018. A loan move to Atlético Tucumán in October 2020 turned permanent the following year, when the Tucumán club exercised its purchase option on half of his economic rights, with Gimnasia retaining the rest until the Vélez transfer settled the matter.

Since joining Vélez, the trophies have kept coming: the Supercopa Internacional in 2024 and, in 2025, the Supercopa Argentina, sealed with a 2–0 win over Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero in the final. He has picked up Man of the Match honours in individual matches along the way, though the senior national team has not yet called on him. Football also runs in the family — his brother Tadeo Marchiori plays as a midfielder.
