Asa Aarhus Women

The workers' sports movement in Aarhus put down a marker in Frederiksbjerg on 22 April 1933, and the club it produced kept the district's name in its terms of reference ever since: ASA Aarhus Kvinder, still known locally as "Klubben i centrum" — the club in the centre. The women's side operates within that wider multi-sports body, ASA Fodbold, playing in red and white at Robotize Park, a ground with room for 1,000.

Danish women's football has moved the club up and down between its two top divisions rather than let it settle. After a season in the 1st Division in 2024–25, ASA earned promotion back to the A-Liga for 2025–26, the latest swing in a pattern that has defined the club more than any single campaign has.

The nearest fixture on the calendar carries more weight than the league table around it: matches against AGF Women are billed as the Aarhus derby, a local pairing that draws attention regardless of where either side sits. Among the current squad, striker Benedicte Moss Rasmussen gives ASA a focal point up front, while goalkeeper Sidse Tryk Christiansen anchors the other end of the pitch.

What the club has not done is win anything. No league title, no Danish Women's Cup — despite the derby standing and the repeated returns to the top flight, ASA Aarhus Women have yet to add a major honour to the record.
