Thisted FC, Nors B, Klodby-Hørdum IF, IF Nordthy and Frøstrup-Hannæs IF put their names under one umbrella.

FC Thy-Thisted Q, known as TTQ, won the 1st Division in 2017–18 and reached the top flight, the Elitedivisionen, at the first attempt. Fourth place in 2019–20 remains their best finish there.

They lost the 2019–20 final 1–0 to FC Nordsjælland, then came back a year later and beat Brøndby IF 2–1 to win the Danish Women's Cup. In 2021–22 they reached the final again and lost 3–1 to Fortuna Hjørring. Hjørring are the club's main rival, and matches between the two are billed as the North Jutland derby.

The goalkeeper Maja Bay Østergaard spent five seasons here, from 2018 to 2023. She made her Denmark debut in 2023 and went to that year's World Cup. She moved to Växjö DFF in 2024 and was later in the squad for Euro 2025. Liisa Merisalu, an Estonia international, arrived from Tartu Tammeka in August 2024.

Line Saustrup Kristensen retired in August this year after 234 appearances for the club.
