Goldobin: SKA rally past Dynamo Moscow 5-3
Forward Nikolai Goldobin set up four goals as SKA St Petersburg overturned a 0-2 deficit to beat Dynamo Moscow 5-3 in their second KHL win of the season.
SKA St Petersburg came from 0-2 down to beat Dynamo Moscow 5-3 in the KHL regular season, their second win from two matches this season. Nikolai Goldobin set up four goals.
Andrei Pedan and Sergei Plotnikov each scored twice for SKA, with Vasili Atanasov adding the fifth goal. Goldobin, 30, finished with four assists.
"Good to see a game like this today. Dynamo showed a lot of passion and character. This is only the second match of the season, so it's too early to say anything. There are 66 matches still to come," Goldobin said, quoted by Sovetsky Sport.
"We played badly against Lada: we were behind for a long time, with a lot of passes backwards. Today it was different: we get the puck and go forward straight away. We can all play hockey, we all have technique, and we proved that today," he said.
"It was nice at the SKA Arena, a lot of people and emotion, I love playing in arenas like that," he said.
