Plyushchev Says CSKA Has Disappointed So Far
Ex-Russia head coach Vladimir Plyushchev says CSKA's slow KHL start, despite a roster built for top honors, has left him wanting more.
Vladimir Plyushchev, the former Russia national team head coach, has said CSKA Moscow's start to the Fonbet KHL season has left him disappointed. Under head coach Igor Nikitin, CSKA have won three of their first six matches and sit seventh in the West with six points.
Asked whether CSKA remain contenders for the top places, Plyushchev pointed to the squad built for the team and drew a comparison with Severstal.
