Martin Gernat, the 33-year-old Slovak defenceman, has signed with Davos of the Swiss National League as a free agent. The contract runs to the end of the 2026/27 season, according to Sport-Express, citing the Swiss club's press office.
Gernat had played for Lokomotiv since 2023 and won the Gagarin Cup with the Yaroslavl side twice, in 2025 and 2026.
In the KHL he made 249 appearances including the play-offs and scored 108 points (33+75). With Slovakia he took bronze at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
