Vorobyov Weighs In on Razin's Outburst at Tkachev
Ilya Vorobyov says NHL players wouldn't tolerate a coach undermining the dressing room, after Metallurg sanctioned Razin over his comments on Tkachev.
Metallurg's management has handed head coach Andrei Razin disciplinary measures following his outburst against Vladimir Tkachev.
"If this were the NHL, it (a coach getting undermined by his own dressing room) would happen instantly, because players there don't tolerate that kind of thing. Here it's a bit different, and so far it isn't happening. This isn't the first year he's done this, so the players must be putting up with it and getting on with the work," said the former Russia head coach.
Razin's remarks about Tkachev prompted the club to step in with sanctions against its own coach rather than the forward.
