Arthur Dias

Arthur Dias joined Athletico Paranaense's youth setup in 2022 and has worked his way through the ranks as a central defender, signing a contract with the club that runs to 2028. That progression paid off in 2025, when he made his first-team debut in the Brazilian championship against América-MG, following the club's relegation to Série B the previous year.

His development showed most clearly at youth level. In 2023, Dias won the Copa Sul Under-20 and the Paraná state Under-17 championship. The CIES Football Observatory later listed him among the most promising defenders in the world under the age of 20, a mark of the trajectory he built through the academy before ever featuring for the senior side.

That form brought international recognition. Dias has been called up to Brazil's Under-20 squad, playing in matches against Mexico, Paraguay and Bolivia.

At club level, no goals for the first team have been recorded so far, and his early senior involvement remains centred on establishing himself in defence rather than making an attacking impact.
