K. Rosenqvist

Charlie Rosenqvist made his senior debut for Kalmar FF in 2024. He signed his first professional contract, running until December 2028, only in March 2026. The forward, comfortable through the middle or out on the right, was part of the Kalmar squad that finished as Superettan runners-up in 2025 and won promotion to the Allsvenskan.

In his first season in Sweden's top flight he scored seven goals and added two assists across 19 starts, form that earned him a first call-up to the Sweden U21 side and a cap against Finland in June 2026.

That breakthrough campaign ended with a move away from Kalmar. On 31 August 2026, with the club still fighting relegation, Rosenqvist was sold to Djurgårdens IF for a fee of around 40 million kronor including bonuses, making him the most expensive player in Allsvenskan history and the biggest sale in Kalmar's history. The transfer drew criticism from Kalmar supporters, both for the timing amid the club's relegation battle and for the fact that the buyer was a direct rival. Rosenqvist had turned down other offers before agreeing to join Djurgården.
