About the player
The youth work paid off in 2021–22, when he won the UEFA Youth League with Benfica's under-19s. His route to senior football then ran through Benfica B, where he made 39 league appearances between 2023 and 2026. The call to the first team came on 14 April 2024, when he came off the bench in a 3–0 Primeira Liga win over Moreirense.
The half-season at AVS gave him a run of games and goals. He scored his first in the Primeira Liga on 13 September 2025, in a 3–1 defeat to Estoril, and added two more in the Taça de Portugal against Fornos de Algodres on 18 October, a 7–0 win. In 16 appearances on loan he scored three and set up two others.
His international record stands at a single cap: a substitute appearance for Portugal U20 on 17 November 2023, in a 2–1 friendly win over Norway in Amarante.
