Igor Formiga

Igor Formiga began his career at Nova Iguaçu, making his senior debut in a Série D fixture in April 2018 before Corinthians signed him that July. His time there ran mostly through the youth ranks; a short loan to Coimbra in 2020 brought a single appearance in the Campeonato Mineiro, and he did not feature for the Corinthians first team before the club's link with him was dissolved.

The move that gave him regular football came in January 2022, when Ponte Preta took him on loan and then made the deal permanent that April after his contract with Corinthians was rescinded. He made 34 appearances there, and that run of form carried him to Cruzeiro at the end of the year.

A move abroad followed in July 2023, when Portimonense signed him on a free transfer and handed him a contract running to 2027, with reports of the Portuguese club acquiring the majority of his economic rights. He made 32 appearances in Portugal before returning to Brazil in mid-2024 with Novorizontino, where he played 36 times. A further free transfer took him to Juventude in August 2025, and from there to Mirassol in January 2026.

At Mirassol, wearing number 32, Formiga has made 28 appearances across the Campeonato Paulista, Série A, Copa do Brasil and Copa Libertadores. He has yet to add a major trophy to his record, and has not been called up to the Brazil senior side.
