About the player
Jannich Storch trained with Blackburn Rovers in 2009, saved a penalty and made 12 stops in a youth match, then chose to go home and continue with FC Nordsjælland rather than sign a contract abroad.
He made his senior debut for Nordsjælland on 2 October 2011, coming off the bench in a 1–0 Superliga win over SønderjyskE. He left as a free agent in the summer of 2014 for Akademisk Boldklub, where he stayed until January 2018. Spells at FC Roskilde and then Nykøbing FC followed, and it was at Nykøbing that he helped the club win the 2. Division title and go up to the 1st Division in the 2021–22 season.
Storch left Nykøbing in January 2023 for Lyngby Boldklub, again on a free transfer, and stayed until his contract ran to the summer of 2025. In June 2025 he signed a three-year deal with Randers FC, once more arriving without a transfer fee — a pattern that has run through his entire senior career, from Nordsjælland onward.
At youth international level, Storch won three caps for Denmark's U16 side.
