Jens Jakob Dyhr Thomasen

Jens Jakob Dyhr Thomasen came through the academy at Odense Boldklub, which he joined in 2007 after starting out at Sanderum Boldklub. He made his senior debut for OB in April 2015 and went on to make 168 league appearances for the club, a run that included the club's 'Revelation of the Year' award in 2016 and a runner-up finish in the Danish Cup in 2021–22.

He left Denmark in July 2022, moving to French side Nîmes Olympique on a free transfer. That spell was cut short in April 2023, when he picked up an injury in a match against Paris FC. He moved on again that July, joining Swedish club IF Elfsborg on a free transfer, where he wore the number 7 shirt and went on to make 31 competitive appearances, taking a silver medal in the Allsvenskan in his first season there.

His contract at Elfsborg ran out at the end of 2025, and the club confirmed his departure that December. He did not stay without a club for long: in February 2026 he signed for Danish 1st Division side Lyngby Boldklub on a deal running to the summer of 2027, taking the number 18 shirt. The move paid off quickly — Lyngby won the 2025–26 1st Division title with Thomasen in the squad, sealing promotion to the Superliga.

Thomasen has represented Denmark at every youth level from the under-16s through to the under-21s, though a senior cap has so far eluded him.
