About the player
Özcan grew up in the Netherlands, playing for ADO Den Haag, where he captained the under-17 side before playing on for the under-19s. In July 2025 he left as a free agent and signed his first professional contract with Iğdır FK.
In his first season with the club he made 13 appearances for the senior team, scoring four goals in the league and adding another four in the Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, where he also set up five goals for team-mates.
In August 2025, reports in Italian and Turkish media linked him with a loan move to Napoli that would have included an option to buy. Iğdır FK president Onur Girdap denied that any deal had gone through, saying the club had turned down the offer as too low. No transfer to Napoli was completed.
Born in Amsterdam, Özcan plays as a forward and is right-footed.
