About the player
Yatskevich's football education started at a local sports school in Beloozersk under coach Vladimir Boyko, before he moved into BATE Borisov's academy and spent two years training with the club's older youth groups. Rather than break into the first team there, he left for FK Ostrovets in 2022, with BATE receiving a compensation fee for his development.
He finished as the club's top scorer in 2023 with ten goals and again in 2024 with twelve, then shared the Belarusian First League's half-season scoring title in 2025 with eleven goals before his move away. Across his time there he scored 34 times in 94 appearances.
In August 2025 he found a way back into it at BATE, joining on loan with an option to buy. He shared top-scoring duties at the club that year with Jean Charles Olivier Yao, striking six times, and did enough to convince BATE to sign him permanently in December on a deal running to the end of 2026.
He picked up a Belarusian Cup winner's medal with BATE in the 2025/26 season, though he was not involved in the final against Dinamo Minsk.
