Arseniy Skopets

Skopets was born in Minsk. He came through the BATE Borisov academy under his first coach, Alexander Mikhailov, and has stayed within the club's system for his entire career, playing his way up from the reserve side, BATE-2, in the Belarusian second tier before making his first-team debut against Torpedo-BelAZ on 13 April 2024. In June 2026, the club rewarded that progress with a contract extension running to the end of 2028.

He was capped once by the under-17s, coming on in a friendly against Ukraine in August 2021 and later sitting on the bench through qualifying for the 2022 European Under-17 Championship. He stepped up to the under-21s on 22 March 2024, making his debut in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Greece, and had earned six caps at that level by May 2026.

Domestically, he has not forced his way past Danila Sokol for the number one jersey. When BATE won the 2025–26 Belarusian Cup, Skopets was named among the substitutes for the final rather than starting it; Sokol played the full match, including extra time, and settled the shootout with a save as BATE beat Dinamo Minsk 8-7 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. A Belarusian Premier League title has so far eluded him too, with BATE finishing eighth in the 2024 season.
