Artem Rakhmanov

Artem Rakhmanov captained BATE Borisov to the Belarusian Cup in the 2025/26 season, a final against Dinamo Minsk that finished 1–1 and went to penalties, with BATE prevailing 8–7. At 35, he described it as his first major trophy in Belarus. He was troubled by muscle cramps in the closing stages of regular time and underwent doping control after the win.

Rakhmanov came through the youth ranks at Smena Minsk and FC Minsk before making his senior debut for FC Minsk in 2007, a spell that ran until 2012 and included a loan at FC Minsk-2. What followed was an unusually well-travelled career: Slavia-Mozyr, Neman Grodno, a season at Levadia Tallinn that ended with a Meistriliiga silver medal, and a bronze medal in Moldova with Milsami Orhei. His contract at Chornomorets Odesa was terminated, and after a stint at Raków Częstochowa he joined Isloch Minsk Raion. A move to Sweden with AFC Eskilstuna lasted just five matches and one goal before that contract, too, was cut short, and he returned to Isloch.

At Rukh Brest he wore the captain's armband in 2021, and that autumn he won his first two caps for Belarus, both defeats — 1–0 against the Czech Republic and 1–0 against Belgium — during World Cup qualifying. He also represented Belarus at under-19 and under-21 level. In 2022 he moved to FC Astana and won the Kazakhstan Premier League title. He then spent a year without a club, a period he has said he used to develop his interests in digital technology and finance, before returning to football with Dinamo Brest in 2024 and joining BATE Borisov as a free agent in 2025.
