Huesca

Rodrigo Corrales spent two seasons in Huesca's goal, on loan from Barcelona for 2012–13 and 2013–14, before the club became a name in Spanish handball and he went on to take Olympic bronze with the national team.

The club itself came out of nothing much — a group of friends who wanted handball back in the city and, on 12 July 1995, set up Club Balonmano Huesca to do it. There was no old club to take over from. What followed was two decades of changing shirts and changing names: Adeslas, then Forcusa, then Obearagón, before the club settled into the identity fans now know, Bada Huesca. Since 2011 it has stayed in the Liga ASOBAL without a break.

The regional silverware came in a short stretch either side: the Copa Aragón in 2013, beaten out against BM Aragón 40–23, and the Copa Federación the following year, again at Aragón's expense.

Asier Nieto came through the club's own academy and stayed six years, from 2018 to 2022, playing left back.

For all that, the league title, the Copa del Rey, the Copa ASOBAL — none of them have gone to Huesca yet. The nearest the club came was a promotion playoff loss to Helvetia Anaitasuna in 2010–11, decided on penalties.
