Isidro Metapán

Asociación Deportiva Isidro Metapán took its current form on 2 June 2000, formed by the merger of Isidro Menéndez, a side dating back to 1950, and Metapán FC.

What followed was a run few clubs in the country have matched: ten Primera División titles between 2007 and 2014. Héctor Omar Mejía played through nearly all of it, making more than 500 appearances before his number 20 was retired in 2015. Milton Molina matched that appearance count and collected eight championships in Los Caleros colours, a career the club marked by retiring his number 2.

Not every shirt retired at the club marks a long career. Goalkeeper Álvaro Misael Alfaro had his number 15 withdrawn in 2011 after a neck injury ended his playing days, and midfielder Nelson Rivera's number 18 was retired the same year, following his death in 2009.
