Mes Shahr-e Babak

Founded in 2010, it started out in the third tier, dropped into provincial football after the 2012-13 season and stayed out of the national pyramid until 2018. The route that eventually worked ran through the third division again: third place in 2019-20, then a group title in 2020-21 that earned promotion back to League 2.

In the 2021-22 League 2 play-off final, Mes Shahr-e Babak and Shahrdari Hamadan could not be separated after 90 goalless minutes, and the shootout went to 6-5 in the copper club's favour. The win sent them into Azadegan League for the first time. A run to the last 16 of the Hazfi Cup followed in the same season, Ario Eslamshahr beaten 2-1 after extra time along the way; two seasons later a cup tie against Fajr Sepasi went the other way, lost on penalties after another goalless draw.

Matches are played at the Shohada-ye Mes Shahr-e Babak Stadium, which holds 15,000.
