The hosts come off a 1-0 win over Horyn and another 1-0 victory against Vilkhivtsi, but have also lost to LNZ and Polissya. The visitors have been more consistent in avoiding defeat, with draws against Karpaty and Horyn, a 3-0 win over Dnister Zaleshchiky, and a 2-1 victory against Metalist 1925.
Three points is three points regardless of how they are accumulated, though the manner of this draw suggests both managers will want more. Chornomorets have one foot in the bottom half and Livyi Bereh have yet to find a win, but the gap between them remains narrow. What matters now is whether either side can turn these cautious performances into something more threatening before the next fixture.
