Clotinge and Cozakken Boys played out a 3-3 draw in the Tweede Divisie regular season on Friday afternoon. The match ended with neither side able to claim victory despite a flurry of goals across both halves. K. van Hecke opened the scoring for Clotinge in the 26th minute before adding a second just one minute later. D. Wissel responded for Cozakken Boys in the 33rd minute to level matters before the interval. The hosts led 2-1 at the break, with the visitors making three changes at half-time: S. Soetens, S. Jalloh and M. Hassan came on for the second period.
M. Maletic ignited the second half with a goal in the 58th minute, only for L. Admiraal to restore parity six minutes later. The Serbian striker struck again in the 69th minute to put Clotinge ahead once more. Maletic received a yellow card in the 72nd minute as the visitors searched for an equaliser.
T. Sas finally found the net for Cozakken Boys in the 87th minute, completing a dramatic turnaround. The goal came just as D. den Besten was making his way onto the pitch for Clotinge. D. Wissel picked up a yellow card in the 86th minute, while D. Pedro had already been booked in the 83rd minute.
Cozakken Boys registered 130 attacks compared to Clotinge's 111, though possession was evenly split at 48 per cent for the hosts. The visitors managed seven shots on target against nine for the hosts, with both sides winning seven corners each.
The result leaves both teams on four points, with Cozakken Boys sitting eighth and Clotinge in 11th place. The draw extends both sides' unbeaten runs to three matches without a loss.
