A fixture between Vienne and Rouen Normandie is set for the National competition on 2026-09-26, with kick-off at 18:36. The match pits two sides against each other as they navigate the demands of the third tier.
Vienne have found results mixed of late. They lost 19:21 to Bressane and 13:29 to Albi in September, following a 23:21 victory over Rennes in August. Their defeat to Mont-de-Marsan 0:47 remains the low point.
Rouen Normandie's recent record offers a different picture. They beat Mont-de-Marsan 19:13 and Orleans 59:29, though a 5:28 loss to Carcassonne and a 13:23 defeat to Surlains interrupted their momentum.
And here's the thing — Rouen also secured a 25:0 win over Tarbes Pyrenees back in April 2024, showing they can put together results when conditions suit.
To be fair, neither side has been particularly consistent over their last five outings. Vienne have won two of their last five, while Rouen have taken three victories from the same span.
By then, both teams will be looking to build on their recent form as they meet in what promises to be a competitive encounter in the National league.
