About the player
Adi Alić learned his trade at FK Sloboda Tuzla, joining the under-19 side in July 2019 and working his way into the senior squad by January 2021. A brief move to FK Sloboda Novi Grad in 2022 was followed by a loan back to Tuzla, and he left for good in July 2023, signing for Achyronas Onisilos in Cyprus on a free transfer.
A year later he joined Macedonian side Sileks Kratovo, again without a transfer fee, and it was there that he had his most notable moment to date: in the 2025/2026 Macedonian Cup final against KF Shkëndija, Alić scored the winning goal in the 71st minute as Sileks won 1-0. That contribution preceded his switch to Budapest Honvéd, agreed as a free transfer.
At international level, Alić has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level rather than with the senior side. He was capped once by the under-17s in 2019, and later earned a single appearance for the under-21s, making his debut against the Republic of Ireland in September 2021 in a UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier, a match Bosnia lost 0-2.
A left-footed forward by trade, Alić now takes on a new league with Budapest Honvéd.
