About the player
Branko Pauljević was born in Kusić, near Vršac, and started his senior career at home with FK Big Bull before moving on to Hajduk Kula, with a loan spell at Senta along the way. A return to Partizan followed, though it brought him only five appearances before he headed to Hungary, permanently into Hungarian football with Pécsi MFC and Puskás Akadémia.
It was at Újpest that Pauljević settled longest, spending seven years at the club and making 219 appearances, a run that also produced eight goals from the back.
In July 2024 he joined Budapest Honvéd on a free transfer, continuing his career in Hungary rather than seeking a move elsewhere. Since then he has added 37 appearances and one goal for his new club. Pauljević has not been capped at senior level for Serbia.
