About the player
Alexander Jallow came through the youth system at Avesta AIK before making his senior debut for the club in 2013. He then played for Jönköpings Södra IF, before IFK Göteborg signed him on a four-year contract on 2 January 2020.
That first spell in Gothenburg brought the biggest moment of his career so far: a Svenska Cupen triumph in the 2019/20 season, sealed in a final against Malmö FF played on 30 July 2020.
In August 2022 Jallow left for Italy, joining Serie B side Brescia Calcio for a fee reported between €555,000 and €600,000. His contract there ran until July 2025 before he returned to IFK Göteborg on a free transfer in December 2025, back at the club where he had already won a trophy.
At youth international level, he was capped by Sweden at U17, U19 and U21. He was later included in the senior squad named for a January 2021 tour of Portugal, though that trip was cancelled and he has yet to win a full cap for Sweden.
