About the player
Bright Osuoha Godwin arrived at Vizela in July 2025 on a free transfer, where the left-back was described as a revelation in Portugal's third tier during the 2024-25 season.
The Nigerian defender's path into professional football began in Belgium with KV Kortrijk II, where he had two short stints before moving on. He then joined FK Riteriai in Lithuania's A Lyga on a free transfer, gaining experience in the domestic league as well as a Europa League appearance. From there he moved to Portugal, signing for Leixões SC.
He has since renewed that deal, extending his stay at the club further.
