Bruno Henrique

Bruno Henrique came through Cruzeiro's academy before his path took him away from the big clubs first: spells at Uberlândia and Itumbiara preceded a move to Goiás, the kind of route that builds a player rather than fast-tracks him. A transfer to Wolfsburg followed, taking him to Germany, before he returned to Brazil with Santos in 2017.

The move that defined his career came in 2019, when he joined Flamengo. He became a key figure almost immediately, finishing that first season as the standout performer of the Copa Libertadores, which Flamengo won, and picking up the Brazilian Player of the Year award from both players and journalists. He also finished as the top scorer of the Campeonato Carioca that year.

What followed was a run of silverware rarely matched at the club. Bruno Henrique has won the Copa Libertadores twice, the Brazilian championship twice, the Copa do Brasil twice, the Recopa Sudamericana, three Brazilian Super Cups and four Carioca state titles. By 2025 he had become Flamengo's all-time record holder for trophies won, with 14 to his name.

His international career, by contrast, is a short entry: two friendly appearances for Brazil in September 2019, against Colombia and Peru, without scoring.

Wearing the number 27 shirt at Flamengo, he has built his reputation less on a single moment than on consistency across seasons at a club that expects to win every competition it enters.
