About the player
The nickname came before the goals: Carlão — Carlos Henrique de Moura Brito — is a tall centre-forward. By March 2026 the ledger read 493 matches and 169 goals.
He joined the Paulista academy in 2005 and made his first-team debut there in 2010. The years that followed were a tour of São Paulo state football and its neighbours: Atlético Sorocaba, CRB, Capivariano, Botafogo-SP, Paraná.
São Caetano gave him a significant role. He won Série A2 again in 2017 and finished as the club's leading scorer in the competition with ten goals. A short spell at Sampaio Corrêa in 2018 added the Copa do Nordeste, and Mirassol followed.
The move that changed his numbers was a move abroad. From 2019 he played for Al-Jabalain in Saudi Arabia, and finished as the club's top scorer in two seasons of the Saudi first division. He scored 43 league goals for them. A season at Al Qadsiah in between yielded five.
Back in Brazil from 2023 with Noroeste, he went out on loan to Ferroviária in 2024 and top-scored in Série A2 of the Paulista with eleven goals.
He signed for Grêmio Novorizontino in February 2026. Two goals and an assist so far. He has never been called up by Brazil.
