About the player
Formed as a youth player at Libertad before moving into Atlético Mineiro's academy, the Paraguayan forward turned professional not in South America but in Russia, joining KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny in 2022. That same year he moved on loan to FC Orenburg, where he spent the following season before heading home.
Back in Paraguay, Acosta joined Sportivo Luqueño, where he played from 2023 into the 2024/2025 campaign.
Acosta has already represented Paraguay at youth level, appearing eight times for the under-17 side in 2019 without scoring, then adding two under-20 caps the same year, including a goal.
