About the player
Dilan Varas is a left-footed defender who plays at left-back for Deportes Concepción in the Chilean Primera División. He began his senior career at Huachipato, where he made his professional debut in March 2024 after coming through the club's under-20 side, for whom he had played since mid-2023.
His time in Huachipato's first team was brief: two appearances during the 2024 season before he moved on to Deportes Concepción in January 2026. Since then he has made seventeen appearances across the Chilean Primera División, the Copa Chile and the Copa de la Liga.
Varas has not yet featured for any of Chile's youth national teams, and his career so far has been built through steady progression at club level rather than individual recognition.
