About the player
Dorian Markowski is a product of the Śląsk Wrocław academy, having come through the club's youth system from 2017 before stepping up to Śląsk Wrocław II. With the reserve side he spent two seasons in the third tier before his promotion to the first team in 2025. He made his mark at youth level first: as part of the Śląsk side that won the Polish U-17 Championship, he played 24 matches in that campaign, though a knee injury kept him out of the final against Legia Warszawa. The following season he was a key player for the club's U-19 side, which finished as runners-up in the national championship.
His breakthrough at senior level came in the 2025/2026 season, when he featured for Śląsk Wrocław in the second-tier I liga as the club secured promotion to the Ekstraklasa for 2026/2027.
In February 2026, Markowski signed his first professional contract with Śląsk Wrocław, tying him to the club until the summer of 2028 with an option for a further year.
