About the player
He signed his first professional contract with the senior squad on 6 February 2024.
Promoted to the first team for the 2024–25 season, Agyemang quickly became a key contributor in midfield, recording 4 goals and 6 assists in the Austrian Bundesliga. His form that season fed into Wolfsberger AC's run to the 2024–25 Austrian Cup, the first major trophy in the club's history.
That breakthrough drew attention beyond Austria. AS Saint-Étienne had a €1 million bid for the midfielder turned down, and Feyenoord also showed interest, but Agyemang stayed put and signed a long-term contract extension with Wolfsberger AC in 2025.
He has yet to earn a senior cap for Ghana, and is not to be confused with the more established Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, who shares part of his name.
