About the player

Fabian Wohlmuth was born in Oberwart and moved through the Fußballakademie Burgenland before making his senior debut with SC Pinkafeld's first team. A loan-like spell at SV Mattersburg II followed before he settled at SV Lafnitz, where he made 60 league appearances between 2020 and 2023.

His move to SV Ried in 2023. Wohlmuth made 55 appearances for the club and scored nine goals, and he was part of the Ried squad that won the Austrian 2. Liga title in the 2024/25 season, sealing promotion to the Bundesliga. That success helped earn him a free transfer to Wolfsberger AC in June 2025, where he signed a contract until 2028.

At international level, Wohlmuth has represented Austria's U21 side, earning six caps.
