Ethan Brown

Ethan Brown came through the Orlando City youth academy before joining Kilmarnock's development squad in 2023, and along the way took up a U-18 agreement with HFX Wanderers. He was farmed out to Cumnock Juniors, then Albion Rovers, then Dumbarton, gathering appearances in Scotland's lower divisions before signing his first professional contract with Kilmarnock in February 2024.

It was at Dumbarton that Brown had his most eventful spell. He scored his first senior goal in a 3-1 win over Arbroath in October 2024, a strike initially credited as an own goal before referee Greg Soutar confirmed it was Brown's. Two months later he was sent off against Montrose.

Brown made his Kilmarnock debut in August 2025, starting at centre-back against Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership, a performance that drew praise from BBC Sport. He has since got on the scoresheet for Kilmarnock too, netting in a 2-1 win over Queen's Park.

Internationally, Brown has represented Canada at U20 level, winning two caps that included the 2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He qualifies for Canada through his mother, Denise Schilte-Brown, who is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, though he remained eligible to represent the United States as well.
