Fabrício Bruno Soares de Faria

Fabrício Bruno came up through Cruzeiro's academy and made his senior debut for the club in 2016. In January 2017 he joined Chapecoense as the Santa Catarina club rebuilt its squad following the 2016 plane crash, and he stayed on through three seasons, starting regularly until an extended run was interrupted by a pubic injury in 2018. He remained a starter in 2019 as Chapecoense were relegated to Série B, then returned to Cruzeiro.

His move to Red Bull Bragantino in January 2020, and two years later Flamengo paid to bring him to Rio de Janeiro. He won the Copa Libertadores in 2022, the Copa do Brasil in both 2022 and 2024, and the Campeonato Carioca in 2024, a season in which he was also named to the Carioca Team of the Season. His form for Flamengo carried into 2025, when he was named to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Team of the Year and picked up the Bola de Prata.

In January 2025 he returned to Cruzeiro for a fee reported as the highest the club had ever paid, closing the loop on a career that began in Belo Horizonte. Back at Cruzeiro, he added the 2026 Campeonato Mineiro to his honours after a 1–0 win over Atlético Mineiro in the final.

Fabrício Bruno earned his first senior call-up to the Brazil national team and made his debut in a 1–0 friendly win over England in March 2024. He has since featured against Spain, Bolivia, Japan, Senegal and Tunisia, and was called up for friendlies under Carlo Ancelotti in late 2025 after being on the standby list, but not selected, for the 2024 Copa América squad.
