Iván Javier Rossi

Danubio's newest midfielder came through the youth ranks at Banfield and made his professional debut in 2013. He was part of the Banfield side that won the Primera B Nacional in the 2013–14 season, a title that took the club back up to the Primera División. That form led to a move to River Plate in July 2016, in a transfer reported at between $2.7 million and $4 million. At River Plate he won the Copa Argentina in 2015–16 and again in 2016–17, plus the Recopa Sudamericana in 2016.

After leaving River Plate, Rossi had spells with Italy's Sambenedettese, Portugal's Marítimo, and Junior de Barranquilla in Colombia, each on a free transfer. A return to Argentina with Platense in 2023 preceded a move to Uruguayan football, joining Juventud de Las Piedras in 2024. He rescinded that contract in February 2026 to sign for Danubio on a free transfer, and has made three appearances for the club under coach Diego Monarriz.

At international level, Rossi's closest brush with the senior Argentina squad came in 2016, when Gerardo Martino included him in the preliminary 35-man list for the Rio Olympics. He did not make the final roster.
