About the player
Jørgen Voilås arrived at Waterford in January 2026. He had gone through Djerv 1919's youth ranks before starting there in 2015, left for Vard Haugesund in 2018, then returned to Djerv 1919 in 2019, scoring 13 goals in 26 league matches. Spells at Bryne FK and Egersunds IK followed before he moved to Umeå FC on a free transfer in March 2025 and then on to Ireland less than a year later.
At Waterford he has settled into the League of Ireland Premier Division as a regular attacking presence, scoring in a 2-0 win over St Patrick's Athletic and again in a 4-0 win over Sligo Rovers, matches in which he was rated among the club's best performers. He also scored twice against Cobh Ramblers in February. Through the opening months of the 2026 season he had struck four goals from an expected-goals total of 3.79.
