Kevin Callai

Kevin Kállai started out as a forward in the Diósgyőri VTK academy before his career moved him back into defence, and it is at right-back that he has built his career in Hungarian football. He returned to Miskolc as a professional too: after coming through at Diósgyőr and then Szombathelyi Haladás, where he made his senior debut and racked up 55 league appearances in the second tier, he signed for Mezőkövesdi SE in 2022 and stepped up to the top-flight Nemzeti Bajnokság I, debuting there in July of that year.

In January 2025 he went back to Diósgyőri VTK, the club where he started as a boy, adding seven league games and a goal there before leaving again that summer.

On the same day he departed Diósgyőr, Kállai signed a three-year deal with Budapest Honvéd on a free transfer. He has since made 20 league appearances for the club, split between the first team and Honvéd II, without yet scoring for his new side.

At international level, Kállai was capped five times for Hungary's under-21 side between 2022 and 2023.
